The West Coast Movement Therapy Society will be hosting the 3rd annual Empowering Steps and Wheels 5k walk run roll on Sunday, October 1st at 1pm at Mundy Park.. There is also a 2k option this year. After the event there will be a cash BBQ and prizes.
All funds go directly to the Symington Endowment Fund supporting children and youth living with neurodevelopmental delays, high performance athletes and youth at risk. Over the past two year this event has raised over $20,000 for the Endowment Fund. Due to this event and the other fundraisers throughout the year, the Symington Endowment Fund was able to hand out $12,000 in bursaries this Spring.
A large appreciation goes out to all families and friends who came out to support the event! This is an annual event that we want to keep growing so we can continue to grow the Symington Endowment Fund!
